Social acceptability is one of the poles of sustainable development, the harmony between the neighborhood and the host community is very important. Thus, there will be a future project, independently at the front end near the main road, which will be a park accessible to the local population with a community vocation to stimulate cultural exchanges and volunteer involvement. This will provide services and a place for women to exchange and support each other, including a wading pool for children’s enjoyment and gathering. The goal is to promote health and well-being together in a safe place, a multi-functional and friendly place to create links and understand the resilience, sobriety and humor of the inhabitants of Ometepe.
Soccer field since 15 years
We do not want to create an impervious gated community and we are open to the world surrounding us. We let people use the front of the property for the community soccer field and this helps mutual acceptance and exchange with them.
20 years of living together guarantees respect and safety for everyone in this future neighborhood. Our excellent relationship with the local community will turn into a peaceful coexistence of shared territory and culture.
